NTR Wanted Naidu in Andaman Prisons: Lakshmi Parvathi

The AP Telugu Academy Chairperson unleashed plenty of vitriol on her bete noire today.
Hyderabad | 24th February 2020
Andhra Pradesh Telugu Academy Chairperson Lakshmi Parvathi today alleged that former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu had looted the state for five years during his rule.

Addressing the media at Rajahmundry, Parvathi alleged that the previous Naidu government had made the employees scapegoats by constituting a Special Investigation Team on the Visakhapatnam lands. She also said that the SIT constituted by present Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy would bring to the fore the actual facts behind the land scam.

She said that the SIT officials and the Central government officials would work in close coordination on the issue.

Parvathi also said that her dream was to see Naidu, TDP leader Atchannaidu and BJP leader Sujana Chowdary in jail as her husband, TDP founder-president and former chief minister late N T Rama Rao had wanted Chandrababu Naidu sent to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands as punishment for his "mistakes".

Moving on to another topic, Parvathi said that the Telugu Academy would bring back the lost glory of the Telugu language. She pointed out that the government had already issued orders to all educational institutions to teach Telugu as a compulsory subject along with English in all private schools.

She added that the Telugu Sahitya Peetham would be developed into a full-fledged university.
