Telangana BJP floor leader in the Assembly G Kishan Reddy today slammed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for proposing to construct a new Secretariat, alleging that the Chief Minister only wanted to swindle the taxpayer's money.
Speaking to the media men at the Party Office on Monday, Reddy said that instead of constructing new Assembly and Secretariat buildings, KCR could spend that money on repairing damaged roads.
"When the State is facing a financial crunch, what is the need to construct a new Secretariat? The State government, which is already on the verge of bankruptcy, is borrowing more loans to construct unwanted structures, increasing burden on the people," he said.
