No Corruption In Singareni Coal Mines Tender: CM

Responding to allegations of irregularities in the Singareni coal mines tender Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, during his visit to Khammam district, today said that there was no place for irregularities in the Congress government.

He said that attempts were being made to tarnish the image of his party leaders and the government due to conflicts among media organisations.

"Making unfounded allegations without evidence is inappropriate. There is no room for corruption in the Singareni coal mining. I stand by this commitment," the CM said.

Reddy also said that since Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy was a minister from Khammam, the district was witnessing rapid development.

On the occasion, Reddy also launched several development initiatives in the Edulapuram municipality. He also participated in the foundation stone-laying ceremonies for various projects, including a nursing college, the Maddulapalli agricultural market, a JNTU college, and a 100-bed government hospital at Kusumanchi.

He also called for the development of the Bhadrachalam temple under the leadership of the ministers from Khammam, with the aim of developing it on the lines of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.

Later he met elected representatives, and said that if anyone had concerns regarding the party leaders they should approach him directly, and that as the head of the party he was willing to provide clarification.

He also urged the people of the region to ensure the Congress' victory with a huge majority in the upcoming municipal elections.
