No Compromise On Special Status To AP: Pawan Kalyan

The superstar and also accused Chandrababu Naidu of misleading the people of the state by giving contradictory statements on the issue of Special Status.
Hyderabad | 3rd March 2018
Tollywood superstar and Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan today accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of misleading the people of the state by giving contradictory statements on the issue of Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to the media after the JFC meeting which took key decisions today, Kalyan said that there was a unanimous decision that there would be no compromise on the issue of Special Category Status, and reiterated that the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre needed to accord the status to Andhra Pradesh under any circumstances.

Stating that the ruling TDP leaders had said that they were ready to accept even stale laddus from the Centre in the interests of the state, Kalyan quipped that even the stale laddus were not being served to the state by the Union government. He lamented that the Centre had promised Special Category Status to AP first, then changed it to a special package, and was now not even giving the funds promised under the special package.
