"No Civic Strife After SKC Report"

Governor E S L Narasimhan on Tuesday stated that the situation in the State would remain normal even after the submission of Justice B N Srikrishna Committee report.

Talking to media persons after having a darshan of Lord Venkateswara, Narasimhan called on media community not to create fear in the minds of people about what would happen after December 31st, the deadline for Srikrishna committee to submit its report on the situation in the state.

Narasimhan appealed to media to cooperate with government in maintaining law and order.

The governor's appeal assumes importance in the wake of media reports that the State could again witness violent protests, strikes and counter-strikes for and against Telangana state.
