Nine GHMC Officials Suspended For Joining Mujra
The GHMC has ordered the suspension of nine officials caught red-handed while indulging in "unethical" activities at a Mujra party, and ordered an enquiry.

The GHMC Commissioner has ordered the suspension of nine GHMC officials who were caught red-handed while indulging in "unethical" activities at a Mujra party, and ordered an enquiry into the episode.
The officials who were suspended from duties are Tax Inspectors Sanjay Kumar, Padma Bhushan Raju and Ravindrudu, and Bill Collectors Krishna, Narahari, Gnaneshwar, Ranveer, Bhupal and Baburao.
Acting on a tip-off, the Special Operations Team police raided the party being organized in a private building at Khanamet on the city's outskirts and arrested 23 people, including six women and nine GHMC employees in an inebriated state, late on Saturday, and seized 22 mobile phones, six vehicles, packs of condoms, liquor and Rs 21,150 in cash.
Police said that the guest house owner Zarina was aware of the party being organised by one Masaq.
