Senior Congress member Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy on Monday paid a visit to All India Congress President Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi to lodge his complaints against Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.
He blamed the CM for the political turmoil in the state, and expressed dissatisfaction over KKR's refusal to consult other members of the party before taking any decision. He also said that the CM was in no position to keep the party in power.
Kiran Kumar Reddy himself reportedly hinted at the possibility of changes in the state government cabinet in the near future, and with Union Petroleum And Natural Gas Minister Jailpal Reddy and ex-CM Rosaiah openly vying for the position of Chief Minister, it sure seems like the days of KKR as the CM are countable.
While KKR struggles to deal criticizm from within his party, the politicos belonging to other parties, too, are finding faults with his governance.
Communist Party of India (Marxist) State Secretary B V Raghavulu on Monday called upon the people of the state to work towards making the government live up to its many promises. He also condemned the YSR Congress Party and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for wasting time over the no-confidence motion instead of fulfilling their duty as Opposition parties.
One of the handful to publicly support the CM, Rayapati, defended Kiran Kumar Reddy, and strongly condemned TDP leader Revanth Reddy's defamatory remarks on KKR at the Mahanadu.
He chastened the TDP by reminding him that not just any one is made the CM, and that KKR deserved some respect.
