TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday demanded an enquiry into the purchase of power from other states by the AP government.
Talking to reporters in the Assembly premises, Revanth Reddy alleged irregularities in the Congress government's power purchase deals.
He demanded that the state government disclose all the details of power purchased from other states, and also enquire into the matter.
He alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was "proving to be a real heir of his predecessor Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, in continuing the culture of corruption".
Revanth Reddy also alleged that the Congress lacks proper leadership, and that the TRS' ongoing "efforts to lure Congress MPs" were proof of this.
He said that the Congress' lack of clarity on the Telangana issue was responsible for instability in the region. (INN)
