The survey is a PR exercise done on behalf of the YSR Congress party, says TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy, who claims that NDTV had taken over Sakshi TV's editorial board.

The Telugu Desam Party, on Tuesday, dismissed a survey by news channel NDTV, which projected the YSR Congress as the major political group in Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to reporters at the Telugu Desam Legislature Party office, TDP spokesperson and MLA A Revanth Reddy described NDTV's survey as fake and fabricated. He said that the survey was nothing but a public relations' exercise done on behalf of the YSR Congress party.
Revanth Reddy said the survey had no relevance to the existing political circumstances, and that it was ridiculous to predict who would win the most seats when the general elections are to be held after two years.
Revanth Reddy, who was very critical of the survey for predicting zero seats to the TDP, furnished newspaper clippings to prove that the NDTV group has taken over the editorial board of Sakhi Television. He said that NDTV stands to gain about Rs. 20 crore due to Sakshi's deal, and that therefore, it had conducted the "irrelevant" survey to please YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
He added that the TDP would lodge complaints with the National Broadcasters Association and other relevant bodies with regard to the survey. (INN)
