DL To File Case Against Sakshi

Congress leader D L Ravindra Reddy, one of the major contestants for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat, has stated that he will press legal charges against the Sakshi newspaper for publishing libellous articles about him.

He said that he would demand that Sakshi pay him Rs. 10 crores for publishing defamatory news about him.

This will add to the wounds already inflicted upon the company, as the Election Commission has issued notices to the Sakshi newspaper and TV channel for indulging in paid news.

Moving on to the topic of the by-elections for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat, D L Ravindra Reddy confidently stated that the Congress has a healthy vote bank in Kadapa, and that his party would undboubtedly win the elections.

He also expressed confidence that Kiran Kumar Reddy would serve as the Chief Minister of AP even after 2014.

DL opined that Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was fixated upon the CM seat and that he would not accept even his mother, Vijayamma, as the CM.
