Stating that Naidu's remarks have "reduced" his "political stature", PCC Chief Botsa accused the TDP president of suffering from an inferiority complex.
Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Monday slammed TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for allegedly politicising the visit of Prime Minsiter Dr Manmohan Singh to the city to meet the victims of Dilsukhnagar twin blast.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here, Botsa alleged that TDP has made certain remarks against the Prime Minister over his visit to the city. Stating that such remarks have reduced Naidu's political stature, he accused the TDP president of suffering from an inferiority complex. He said that Naidu had lost the trust of his own party workers and therefore, he was trying to enforce his leadership by conducting padayatra.
Botsa claimed that the PM's visit has instilled confidence among the people in general, and the victims in particular. Stating that the Congress party was satisfied with the treatment being given to those injured in the blast, he assured that the state government was taking sufficient measures to ensure that such incidents were not repeated.
