» Nagam Has No Telangana Takers Due To Dictatorial Attitude: Revanth
Revanth Reddy Attacks Nagam
TDP leader Revanth Reddy says Nagam is being shunned by all Telangana protagonists due to his over-enthusiasm, and also accused Jaipal Reddy of being anti-Telangana.
Condemning the statement of Union Minister for Petroleum S Jaipal Reddy on regionalism and sub-regionalism, Telugu Desam Party MLA Revanth Reddy on Monday said that his comments were evidence that Jaipal Reddy is working against the interests of Telangana after being influenced by Seemandhra leaders.
Talking to media persons at NTR Bhavan, Revanth Reddy alleged that it was common knowledge that Jaipal Reddy had always been working against Telangana interests, and that his inadvertent comments had finally revealed the fact.
He advised Telangana supporters to boycott the Union Minister for making such anti-Telangana comments and hurting the sentiments of the people of the region.
Reacting to suspended TDP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy's allegation that party chief N Chandrababu Naidu had funded the 'Ranabheri' programme in Telangana, Revanth Reddy stated that every meeting organised by the party would naturally be funded.
He also countered the allegations by challenging Nagam to reveal details about who was bearing the expenses being incurred to organise his Nagara.
Further sharpening his attack on the suspended TDP leader, Revanth Reddy said that Nagam is being shunned by all Telangana protagonists due to his over-enthusiasm.
"Even TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and Telangana Political Joint Action Committee convenor Kodandaram have not invited Mr. Janardhan Reddy to join their party fold due to his dictatorial attitude," the MLA alleged.
He demanded to know of Nagam why he had boycotted a meeting called by Union Home Minister P Chidambaram after the submission of the Justice Srikrishna Committee Report and why he was now seeking a letter from Naidu on Telangana. (INN)
