According to reports, Sravanthi of Station Ghanpur in Warangal district was married ten years ago and had two children - Sai Teja, 9, and Satwuja, 7. She parted ways with her husband after some years due to some differences and returned to her maternal house at Mansoorabad.
When her parents asked her to go back to her husband, Sravanthi refused, saying that he was mentally deranged.
Gradually getting increasingly dejected with her life, Sravanthi got her two children to consume poison and drank the same herself. While the children died, Sravanthi survived. She then killed herself anyway by clutching a live electric wire.
