Ministers Niranjan Reddy, T Harish Rao and Ch Malla Reddy on Sunday inaugurated a Model Rythu Bazaar at the Asia's biggest housing colony, the KPHB colony.
Local MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao, MLC Naveen Kumar and others were also present.
After the formation of Telangana state, the first model Rythu Bazaar was inaugurated in Erragadda. This one in Kukatpally is the second. Minister Harish Rao had laid the foundation stone for it in July 2018.
The cellar and a G-plus-building with all necessary facilities have been constructed at a cost of Rs 15 crore, and have 471 stalls.
In the ground floor, 158 stalls for farmers, 65 stalls for self-help groups and 18 shops have been constructed.
The first floor has 148 stalls for farmers, 77 stalls for self-help groups and five shops.
MLA Krishna Rao and corporator Mandadi Srinivas profusely thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for "gifting" the new Rythu Bazaar to the public.
