Mobile App For Live Hyderabad Traffic Launched
Apart from the obvious, the app allows you to complain, get details of towed vehicles, complain about footpath encroachment and more.

As a part of its policy of citizen-friendly and responsive policing, the Hyderabad Traffic Police launched a mobile app called "Hyderabad Traffic Live" on Tuesday.
The app has several features. Commuters can give information of any violations, complaints and suggestions to police through it. The app also helps users find the approximate distance to a destination, and the fare if the user travels by an autorickshaw. And, of course, you can always get live traffic congestion details from any location to any destination, enabling you to take an alternate route if required.
The app also helps you to find the nearest police stations, details of towed vehicles, a vehicle's RTA details.
You can also complain against any public services like autos, buses, cabs and taxis. A complaint is registered and immediately an alert is sent to the nearest constable of that area, who will (hopefully) immediately take action on the complaint and resolve it.
Footpath encroachments by shopkeepers and other roadside vendors can also be recorded along with the entire data of the vendor. Repeated vendors will be charge-sheeted and the GHMC will be told to cancel their shop licenses etc.
