KTR Inaugurates 675-Metre Kaithlapur RoB
The new facility will reduce the travel distance by 3.5 km for people commuting between Hi-tech City and JNTU Kukatpally.

Minister for IT and Industries K T Rama Rao inaugurated the Kaithlapur Road over Bridge (RoB) in Kukatpally today.
The 675-metre, four-lane, two-way RoB bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs 83 crore under the Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP), and will help ease the flow of traffic from Kukatpally to Hi-tech City.
The new facility will reduce the travel distance by 3.5 km for people commuting between Hi-tech City and JNTU Kukatpally.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that under the first phase of the SRDP a total of 47 works had been taken up at an estimated cost of Rs. 8,052 crore, and that of them 30 flyovers had already been completed and works on the remaining 17 flyovers were at various stages.
He promised that all the pending projects taken up under the first phase would be completed as early as possible and that the second phase of SRDP works at an estimated cost of Rs. 3,117 crore would commence in the next year.
Minister C Malla Reddy, MLAs Madhavaram Krishna Rao and K P Vivekanand, MLCs Shambipur Raju, Naveen Kumar and Surabhi Vani Devi, Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Deputy Mayor Srilatha Reddy and officials from the GHMC were present.
