Hyderabad | 12th November 2019
A day after the collision between a Lingampally-Faluknama MMTS train and the Secunderabad-Kurnool Hundry Inter-City Express, the affected railway track has been repaired and normal rail traffic restored at the Kacheguda railway station.

After the mishap, SCR staffers from various engineering departments undertook works in full swing to clear the derailed coaches of the MMTS train and complete restoration of the railway line.

The works were completed by Tuesday morning and the track declared fit for normal rail traffic, albeit with speed restrictions, on both the up and the down lines at the Kacheguda yard, officials said.

Consequently, the long distance express train services would be running on their normal routes from Kacheguda towards Kurnool, they added.

Meanwhile, the timings of the following two trains to depart from Kacheguda have been revised:

Train No 12785 (Kacheguda-Mysuru) will leave at 10:05 pm instead of 7:05 pm
Train No 17603 (Kacheguda-Yeshwantpur) will leave at 11:05 pm instead of 9:05 pm
