Forex Employee Murdered For Money?

An employee of the Central Foreign Exchange was found dead in Nalgonda.
Hyderabad | 10th October 2010
The body of a man from Hyderabad, who had been missing since the past 3 days, along with Rs. 5 lakh in cash, was found at Chikati Mamidi, Bommala Ramaram mandal in Nalgoda district.

According to Sub-Inspector Narasimha Raju, the victim, Chaitanya (32), was an employee of the Central Foreign Exchange in Somajiguda. He was a resident of Old Bowenpally in Hyderabad.

Chaitanya had left home for office on October 6. He did not, however, turn up at the office. His worried parents had lodged a complaint with the Bowenpally police after waiting for him later that day.

Chaitanya's father Lakshman Rao had stated in his complaint that Chaitanya was carrying Rs. 5 lakh with him in a bag. The money belonged to the firm he worked in.

The body was found on October 7 in Nalgonda, but was identified only on Sunday.

The body had been shifted to a hospital for autopsy.

According to the postmortem report, Chaitanya was strangled.

A case has been registered. Police believe that Chaitanya was murdered for the money he carried.
