Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today challenged BRS working president and ex-minister K T Rama Rao to contest against him.
Speaking with the media, Reddy said that he would resign as the Nalgonda MLA and contest for the Sircilla Assembly seat if KTR too resigned as the Sircilla MLA.
"I will contest for the Sircilla MLA seat and win. The car shed has to be closed," he said.
He also asked whether KCR would announce that he would close his party if KTR lost.
"If I lose in Sircilla, I will quit politics. KTR does not have any technical knowledge. He is a child, and does not have the stature to compete with me. He has no character or soul. He only has lakhs of crores. I don't have any money, but I have character," Reddy said.
He also said that their opponent in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections was the BJP and not the BRS.
"We have lost our assets due to politics. Uttam Kumar Reddy's assets have also come down along with mine. If the BJP can prove that I have any assets in my name, I will give them to the its Aravind. There is no BRS anyway. And even the BJP will get two or three Lok Sabha seats from Telangana, if any at all," he said.
