The Central Bureau Of Investigation will question 2 members of "Abhinav Bharat", who are currently under custody for their alleged involvement in the October 2007 Ajmer Sharif blast case and in the Mecca Masjid blast of May 2007.
The two activists, Devender Gupta and Lokesh Sharma, will be brought to the city from Ajmer Jail during the next week.
The CBI has already obtained a transit warrant for the accused from a city court. The country's premier investigating agency believes that both the blasts were carried out by members of the Abhinav Sanstha.
A team of CBI officials have met Police Commissioner A K Khan to seek the state police's assistance in this regard.
Two others in the Ajmer blast case, Sandeep and Ramchandra, are on the run, and efforts are on to nab them.
In May 2007, 5 people lost their lives in the Mecca Masjid blast during Friday prayers, while 9 others were killed by police firing on the protestors outside the Masjid.
The city police had initially blamed the Bangladesh-based Harkatul Jihad-e-Islami (HuJI) for the Masjid blast and took into custody nearly 20 Muslim youths. Allegations of torture by the police of these youth are still being raised.
