The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken into custody yet another accused in the 2007 Mecca Masjid blast case. The accused, Rajendar Choudhary, was found hiding under an alias, in the town of Nagda, 50kms away from Ujjain, in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
Three other suspects, Swami Aseemananda, Lokesh Sharma, and Devender Gupta, have already been arrested by the NIA, which had started the enquiry into the case in 2011.
An RSS activist, Rajendar Chouwdhary is also suspected of having had a hand in the 2007 Samjhautha Express blast case. The police are now bringing him to Hyderabad, where he will be interrogated and produced before court.
