Manikoda Demolitions Start Again

The demolition of illegally erected buildings in Manikonda, which had been halted earlier due to the intervention of MLA Prakash Goud, has been taken up again now that the MLA is not in town.

As revenue officers get back on their bulldozers in the Manikonda region of Hyderabad, the situation is becoming incendiary, with protestors and the police turning up in heavy numbers.

The demolition of illegally erected buildings in Manikonda, which had been halted earlier due to protests by the people and the TDP MLA Prakash Goud, has been taken up in full force now that the MLA is not in town.

Meanwhile, the people are protesting against the fact that the officials and the police only now woke up to the dubious legality of the residential complexes, after full money had been paid for the flats.
