Manchu Vishnu Injured During Shooting In Malaysia

Manchu Vishnuvardhan Babu received injuries when the bike he was riding for the shooting of a scene of "Achari America Yatra" in Malaysia skidded on Sunday.

The actor is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Malaysia, and is stated to be out of danger.

Vishnu's father Mohan Babu, brother Manoj, sister Lakshmi Prasanna and director B S Ravi tweeted separately about the incident to assure fans of the actor that there was nothing to worry about.

Mohan Babu stated that Vishnu was safe due to God's blessings. Manoj said that his brother was safe due to the blessings of all his well-wishers, and had escaped with simple injuries. Lakshmi Prasanna, too, tweeted that her brother had miraculously escaped with simple injuries from a big accident thanks to the love and blessings of all. She thanked all those commiserating with them.

B S Ravi tweeted that he had spoken with Vishnu's wife Viranica over the phone about the accident. He thanked God and said that Vishnu was safe but had received some injuries.

The heroine Pragya Jaiswal was also on the bike with Vishnu. She was however safe, Ravi tweeted.

Directed by Nageswar Reddy, the cast and crew of the Manchu Vishnu- and Pragya Jaiswal-starrer have been shooting in Malaysia for 15 days so far after completing two massive schedules in Hyderabad. Vishnu had recently posted a couple of pictures from the sets in Malaysia in a social media account.

After this schedule, the team will move to the US for a lengthy and final schedule.

The film is being produced by Keerti Chowdari and Kittu. S S Thaman is composing the music. The film also stars Brahmanandam, Pradeep Rawat, Prudhvi, Geeta Singh, Tanikella Bharani, Kota Sreenivas Rao and others.
