After the film title controversy of Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Komaram Puli', it is now the turn of Prince Mahesh Babu's 'Khaleja', which is scheduled to hit screens globally on October 7th.
Producer and owner of Nityasri Productions, S Vijay Bhaskar Reddy, filed a writ petition in the Nampally court on Friday claiming that the film title had been registered by him first and that it belonged to him.
Accepting the petition, the court issued notices to producers C Kalyan and Singanamala Ramesh and directed them to appear before the court on October 4th.
Earlier, Vijay Bhaskar had approached Film Chambers regarding the ownership of the title.
However, ignoring his plea, the producers had changed the title to 'Mahesh Khaleja'.
As the film title gets involved in controversies in the court, suspense continues over its release on October 7th among Mahesh film fans.
