Today, the Hyderabad Traffic police once again facilitated the transport of a live organ (a heart) by providing non-stop movement to the ambulance carrying it.
On Thursday at 10:10 am, the Hyderabad and Cyberabad traffic police coordinated to arrange a green channel for the transportation of the heart from Medicover Hospital, HiTech City, to NIMS, Panjagutta.
The distance from Medicover Hospital to NIMS Hospital is 11 km, which was covered in 12 minutes.
The medical team carrying the live heart left Medicover Hospital at 10:10 am and reached NIMS at 10:22 am.
The efforts of the Hyderabad and Cyberabad traffic police in the transportation of the heart were applauded by the managements of both Medicover and NIMS.
In just 2022, the Hyderabad traffic police have facilitated rapid organ transport 32 times.
