KTR Team Returns With Rs 8,000 Crore US Investments
The Telangana Industries Minister, who led an 18-member delegation to the USA and toured the country for 12 days to woo investors there, returned today.

Telangana Industries, MA&UD and IT Minister K T Rama Rao, who led an 18-member delegation to the USA and toured the country for 12 days to woo investors there, returned to the city on Wednesday.
During his tour, KTR and his team met with the heads of various companies and pitched investing in Telangana to them claiming it had all the necessary facilities in plenty.
They held discussions with the bosses of pharma, electrical vehicle, fish processing and IT companies.
The American companies reportedly came forward with commitments to invest over Rs 8,000 crore in the state.
New York-based Advent International Company has agreed to invest Rs 1,750 crore to extend its services in Hyderabad.
Another pharma company based in New York, Slayback Pharma, also came forward to invest in the State. Its CEO Ajay Singh announced that the company would invest Rs 150 crore in the State.
Medical devices manufacturing company Pharma Copia also agreed to set up a Rs 1,525 crore ultra-modern laboratory in Genome Valley in Hyderabad.
