KTR Gets Rousing Welcome In Los Angeles

Telangana Industries Minister K T Rama Rao, who has flown to the USA to fetch investments for the state, received a rousing welcome in Los Angeles today.

Telangana Industries Minister K T Rama Rao, who has flown to the USA to fetch investments for the state, received a rousing welcome in Los Angeles today.

KTR, who left Hyderabad for the US on Saturday, landed in Los Angeles in the early hours of Sunday.

He received a tumultuous welcome from the NRIs and TRS activists there.

Rao chatted with the NRIs for some time, and discussed with them the development of Telangana.

He also explained to them the KCR government's prestigious Mana Vooru - Mana Badi program, and urged them to participate in it.

He also exhorted them to work as ambassadors for their state in the USA.

The minister will tour important American cities for ten days and hold meetings to attract investments. He is scheduled to meet companies and investors in Boston, New York and other top cities and explain to them the industrial policies of the state, and the concessions and reliefs extended by the TRS government to investors.
