Telangana Industries, IT & Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao today left for the US on an official visit to seek investments from noted world class companies.
With a team of officials, the minister took a special flight from the Shamshabad international airport for the US, and will spend about a week there.
During his visit, the minister is to hold meetings with the CEOs of multiple companies to get them to invest in the state and partner with the state's growth programs.
The minister and his team will woo the companies by apprising them of the TSiPASS to give all necessary permissions in just two weeks to companies seeking to start their businesses.
KTR is to visit San Diego, Boston, Los Angeles, San Jose and New York among other places.
As he had left for the US, KTR did not attend the meeting called by the Chief Minister at the latter's Erravalli farmhouse today.
