BRS working president K T Rama Rao today said that he was committed to rewarding all Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) corporators who had supported the party and demonstrated dedication, with additional posts in the future.
KTR held a meeting with corporators at the BRS Bhavan to strategize for the final GHMC Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday. On the occasion, he spoke about the prospects ahead, particularly in light of the upcoming women's reservation and constituency delimitation, and provided guidance on key issues.
KTR also praised the corporators for completing their terms without any corruption or irregularities. He also acknowledged the valuable services rendered by the BRS corporators during the Covid pandemic.
The BRS leader also commended the corporators for addressing public issues and advocating for citizens after the party assumed the role of the opposition in the State.
"I also commend and congratulate the BRS corporators for their efforts during the Jubilee Hills by-election. Every corporator who supported the party will be rewarded with more positions in the future," he said.
The corporators reaffirmed their commitment to the party leadership, expressing their intention to approach the upcoming elections with renewed vigour and aim for victory.
KTR also encouraged the leaders to celebrate Deeksha Diwas on November 29 in a grand manner. Former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav discussed the preparations for the upcoming program in Hyderabad, and said that it was important to remind the public of BRS chief KCR's significant hunger strike in 2009 which was pivotal in the creation of Telangana.
