Komatireddy Writes To CS On Dharani Portal Problems

In his letter the Congress MP alleged that the launch of the portal had created new problems for the farmers instead of solving their age-old land disputes.
Hyderabad | 5th October 2021
Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today wrote an open letter to the Chief Secretary of the state Somesh Kumar urging him to take steps to address all the problems related to the Dharani website.

In his letter he alleged that the launch of the portal had created new problems for the farmers instead of solving their age-old land disputes.

He also alleged that the portal had increased the problems of the farmers instead of reducing them.

Agriculture property registrations through the portal were launched 11 months back, and the number of applications received by the district Collectors of the state after that about prohibited properties had reached the 1 lakh mark now, he claimed.

He said that he was clueless about the preparedness of the state government to solve such a huge number of problems.
