Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today slammed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for ruling Telangana like "a Tughlaq ruler", and advised the CM to govern the state in a democratic manner.
He alleged that the CM had hurt the interests of the people of the state by suspending the state's property registration process for nearly two months.
The MP also criticised the government's new land registration process, claiming that it was only troubling people and not helping them.
Reddy demanded that the government revert to the old method of land registration instead of using the Dharani portal, and warned that if it did not, the Congress would hold massive agitations to protest against the government.
