Congress In-Charge for AP Affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad reprimanded Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for not consulting other Congress ministers concerned before taking any decision, much to the delight of the
anti-KKR group.
The Congress General Secretary was reportedly concerned about the lack of coordination in the party, and advised the CM to keep the ministers in the loop while taking a decision.
However, the Kiran-bashers were gobsmacked when Azad announced that Kiran Kumar Reddy would remain the CM till 2014, distressing the Chittoor MLAs - P Ramachandra Reddy, G Kuthuhalamma and Pidamarthi Ravi - who had requested that KKR be dethroned.
Congress leader from the Ranga Reddy district K M Pratap informed the media that he had requested Azad to take stringent action against the Congress members who were publicly voicing their support for Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Besides the anti-KKR tirade, the
Telangana issue was also focused upon. While Telangana Congress leaders argued that the party would benefit with the bifurcation of the state, the leaders of the Seemandhra region asserted that a United Andhra would keep the Congress at the helm of power.
Azad is reported to have stated that he would compile the arguments put forward by the ministers and would soon reach a decision to address each of the issues preseted to him.
