Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has evidently managed to irk most of his party mates. Ever since the Congress politburo learnt that Congress In-Charge for AP Affairs
Ghulam Nabi Azad will visit Hyderabad to assess the situation of the party in the state, various Congress leaders have been publicly declaring that they would complain to Azad against KKR.
Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, an MLA from the Chittoor district (KKR's home town), who has always been a staunch opponent of the CM, was among the foremost to call upon Azad. He was accompanied by MLAs G Kuthuhalamma and Pidamarthi Ravi.
G Kutuhalamma had on Monday, before meeting Azad, stated that she would inform the Congress General Secretary that the people of Chittoor themselves had no faith in the CM. She questioned how the people of the rest of the state could be expected to respect and follow KKR when his native district was against him.
The PCC Minority Cell and the Mahila Congress members had lamented that Kiran Kumar Reddy's administration was spelling the doom of the party.
It has also been reported that some Congress members had asserted that KKR was exercising favouritism and that he was ignoring the "loyal" members of the party.
Interestingly, there have been no reports of any Kiran Kumar Reddy loyalists calling on Azad. Even at the dinner hosted by KKR for Azad, it was reportedly the anti-KKR group that was noticed making a beeline for the Congress In-Charge for AP Affairs.
