Peddapalli MP G Vivek, on Wednesday, accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of sabotaging the Telangana movement.
Talking to reporters in Medak, Vivek, who had recently
joined the TRS, alleged that the Chief Minister was responsible for creating differences amongst Telangana leaders.
Citing an instance, he said that some Telangana MPs were persuaded to distance themselves from the movement by being offered berths in the Central Cabinet.
Describing Kiran Kumar Reddy as a "hardcore anti-Telangana leader", he alleged that the Chief Minister was sanctioning huge funds for those speaking against the statehood movement.
However, Vivek said that despite all attempts at sabotage, Telangana would be a reality soon. He also predicted a landslide victory for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the 2014 elections. (INN)
