AICC secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, on Saturday, remarked that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president Botsa Satyanayrana have been acting like leaders of opposition parties.
Talking to reporters, Ponguleti said that the Chief Minister and the PCC chief have been remaining mute spectators when Congress president Sonia Gandhi is being criticized by opposition parties.
He said their silence is spoiling the party's image among the public, and added that they ought to counter all the allegations and criticism against the Congress party as well as Sonia Gandhi.
Further, Ponguleti said Kiran and Botsa must maintain the same status that they had maintained before the CWC had announced its decision in favour of Telangana.
Saying that they must abide by the decision of the Congress High Command, he asked them to take steps to end the Samaikyandhra agitation to facilitate the formation of Telangana. (INN)
