The district court today granted bail to the mirchi farmers who were arrested in connection with the recent attack on the Khammam market yard. The court, which granted bail in one case on May 8, granted bail to 10 farmers in the other two cases.
Meanwhile, Khammam City Police Commissioner Iqbal expressed anger at the shifting of the farmers to the court with handcuffs. He ordered an inquiry into the incident by the Additional DGP.
The police had shifted the farmers from the Khammam jail to the court with handcuffs.
