KTR Condemns R S Praveen Kumar's Arrest

BRS general secretary R S Praveen Kumar and several other party leaders were arrested by the police today. BRS working president K T Rama Rao alleged that the arrests were illegal.

"We strongly condemn the illegal arrest of BRS general secretary R S Praveen Kumar and other leaders for supporting the Dinda farmers of Komuram Bheem Asifabad district, who are agitating for land titles. Handcuffing farmers and illegally detaining those who fight on their behalf is a testament to the Revanth government's cowardice. Stop harassing Podu farmers and grant them land titles immediately. End these conspiratorial arrests and release the BRS leaders, including Praveen Kumar, who are in the custody of the Kautala police," he said.

KTR added that the fall of the Revanth Reddy government, which he accused of mocking democracy and targeting BRS leaders fighting for the people, was imminent.
