Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today visited the famous Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple at Srirangam in Tamil Nadu.
The Chief Minister visited the temple along with family members including wife Shobha, son and minister K T Rama Rao, MP Santhosh Kumar and the children in the family.
The temple priests and officials gave a cordial welcome to the Chief Minister.
The family offered special prayers at the temple. The priests then offered blessings and prasadam to the family.
The CM later told media persons that he had visited the famous temple twice. He also said that he was to meet with his Tamil Nadu counterpart M K Stalin tomorrow.
KCR is expected to talk about bilateral issues with Stalin, and may seek his counterpart's support to fight the Centre on farmer issues.
The TRS government has also been opposing the union government's proposal to auction four coal mines in Singareni Collieries, and KCR is expected to seek Stalin's help with that, too.
