KCR Visits Yadadri, Tells Officials To Expedite Works

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today paid a visit to the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple of Yadadri in Yadadri Bhuvangiri district.
He flew in a helicopter to reach the temple, and had an aerial view of development works near the temple and atop the hillock.
He then attended special pujas at the balalayam in the temple. YADA Chairman Kishan Rao, EO Geetha, priests and officials welcomed the CM and his entourage, and participated in the pujas. Minister V Prashanth Reddy, dalit leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu, whip Gongidi Sunitha, MLAs, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, CMO Secretary Narsingh Rao and other officials were also present.
The CM later inspected the works going on at the temple, including including in the main temple, the garbha gudi, the Kalyana Katta structures, the mandaps, the VIP cottages, buildings for accommodation, the arch, the yagashala and others. He instructed the officials to complete the remaining works by the date of relaunch of the temple next month (the CM plans to conduct a Maha Sudarshana yagam on March 21 and a Maha Samprokshana yagam on March 28).
The CM then held a review with ministers G Jagadish Reddy, Prashanth Reddy and others. He talked about the yagashala, the pushkarini and the other structures getting ready for the mega relaunch in March.
The temple is being renovated in about 75 acres of land, on the lines of the Tirumala temple, by spending hundreds of crores. Chinna Jeeyar Swami, ritviks, pujaris and saints from across the country are likely to attend the grand inaugural of the renovated temple.
