Bhongir MP and senior Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today alleged that the state government had violated protocol in the inauguration of the renovated Yadadri temple, located in his constituency.
He alleged that he was not invited for the inaugural event in violation of the protocol, but that the state government had invited all the TRS MLAs and MPs.
He said that he had skipped the ongoing Parliament session and come to Hyderabad expecting an invitation from the officials concerned to attend the auspicious event, and that he was stunned at not getting any invitation.
He termed the decision of the state government to not invite him as cruel politics, and said that he was pained to see such shenanigans by the ruling party leaders even where the presiding deity of the temple was concerned.
The local Congress leaders and public representatives too condemned the act of the state government.
