Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao presented one kilo and 16 tolas of gold for the gold plating of the Vimana Gopuram at the Yadadri Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple in Yadadri-Bhongir district.
The Chief Minister and his family members, including his wife Shobha and grandson Himanshu, who visited the temple on Friday, handed over the gold to the temple authorities.
KCR reached the temple after taking a giri pradakshina through his convoy, and was accorded a grand welcome with Purna Kumbham by the temple priests.
Ministers A Indrakaran Reddy, G Jagadish Reddy and Vemula Prashanth Reddy; MP D Damodhar Rao; MLAs Gongidi Sunitha, Pylla Shekhar Reddy, Chiru Marthi Lingaiah, Sudhir Reddy and Jeevan Reddy; YTDA Chairman Kishan Rao; Temple EO Geetha Reddy; and other elected representatives and officials also accompanied the Chief Minister.
