Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was admitted to the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG), Gachibowli, in the city on Sunday morning after experiencing abdominal discomfort.
The Chief Minister was examined by the Chairman of the hospital, Dr Nageshwar Reddy, who is also the chief of gastroenterology there.
"Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao developed abdominal discomfort on Sunday morning following which he was brought to AIG Hospitals and examined by Dr Nageshwar Reddy. CT and endoscopy were performed. A small ulcer in the stomach was found which is being managed medically. All his other parameters are normal. Appropriate medication has been started," the hospital bulletin said.
