Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is scheduled to hold a high-level review meeting regarding the state's land registration process, at Pragathi Bhavan on Saturday, December 18.
At the meeting, he will reportedly chalk out a new strategy for the registration of non-agricultural lands.
The CM, necessitated by
the Telangana High Court's orders regarding the registrations, is likely to make some major changes to the process.
He will meet the officials of the revenue department to talk about the same.
Reports indicate that KCR will also confer with some legal advisors to decide whether to file an appeal against the court orders directing the government not to ask the applicants for their Aadhaar card details during the registration process, or to prepare fresh guidelines in accordance with the directive.
