Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be conducting an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas in the State on Sunday.
The CM will start the survey from Kadem project in Nirmal and continue to Bhadrachalam and its neighbouring areas affected by the flooding of the Godavari river.
Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar will accompany the Chief Minister.
As part of the arrangements, officials have finalised the route map and other modalities for the tour.
The water level of the Godavari river at Bhadrachalam crossed the danger mark, and all routes to the city have been closed. Section 144 is in force in the area.
Meanwhile, KCR has instructed Health Minister T Harish Rao to conduct a meeting with the doctors and health staff of all the hospitals in the flood-affected areas to curb the spread of communicable diseases.
