KCR To Announce Name Of National Party On October 5
The TRS president has finalised the name of his new party as Bharatha Rashtra Samithi, and fixed a muhurtham at 1:19 pm on Vijayadasami to make an announcement.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrashekar Rao has reportedly finalised the name of his new party as Bharatha Rashtra Samithi, and fixed a muhurtham at 1:19 pm on October 5, the auspicious Vijayadasami day, to make an announcement about it.
The TRS president held a meeting with the local heads of the party of all 33 districts, ministers and other senior party leaders at Pragathi Bhavan today, and discussed the proposed new party.
According to sources, KCR reportedly explained the necessity of floating a national party and its vision for the country.
As part of his action plan, it is learnt that the TRS president has decided to organise a mass meeting in New Delhi on December 9.
The TRS president is reportedly in favour of changing the name of the existing party to Bharatha Rashtra Samithi rather than announcing a new outfit.
Most TRS leaders reportedly said that if the name of the existing party were changed, the party symbol and flag would not need to be changed, and so the people would not get confused.
TRS MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said that many leaders of small parties of other States were willing to merge with the new party headed by KCR and were ready to contest in their respective States in the name of the proposed party.
