Front Will Replicate Rythu Bandhu Across India: KCR
The TRS chief said that the Rythu Bandhu program would be implemented throughout the nation if the Federal Front came to power at the Centre in 2019.
Hyderabad | 12th December 2018
Talking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan along with party senior leaders after being elected unanimously as the leader of the TRS Legislature Party, TRS president and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today said that he would take charge as the Chief Minister of Telangana on December 13 at 1:30 pm.
KCR said that some other TRS MLAs would also take oath along with him as cabinet ministers on December 13, and that a full-fledged cabinet would take shape in a week.
He said that his government would very soon issue a notification to fill the government vacancies, and added that these vacancies would be filled on a war-footing.
He also said that the government would soon take the necessary steps to resolve the issue of plot allotment to the journalists.
Clearly the CM now has much bigger aspirations given the scale of the victory he has just tasted, and it didn't take long or too much prodding for him to get onto the Federal Front topic for the second consecutive day. Alleging that the previous governments at the Centre had failed miserably in meeting the expectations of Indians, KCR said, "The successive Congress and the BJP governments deceived the people by denying them jobs and failing to address their issues. The people of the country are not happy, and there is an urgent need for a new Federal Front comprising of the regional parties to bring about a qualitative change in the national politics and the lives of the people. The Federal Front will serve as a viable alternative with the guts, courage and commitment needed to take India on a path of sustainable growth."
He exuded confidence that the Federal Front would dethrone the BJP at the Centre in 2019. He also said that the Rythu Bandhu program would be implemented throughout the nation if the Federal Front came to power at the Centre after the 2019 general elections.
