KCR Misleading Muslims: Telangana Congress
It said that KCR has promised to give the Deputy CM post and 3 berths in the Telangana cabinet to Muslims, but did not give sufficient tickets to them.

Telangana Congress Pradesh Committee chief spokesperson Dr. Shravan Kumar on Tuesday accused TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao of misleading the Muslims of Telangana.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Shravan Kumar said that although KCR has promised to give the post of Deputy Chief Minister and 3 berths in the Telangana cabinet to Muslims, he did not give sufficient tickets to Muslim candidates to enable that.
He had denied tickets to strong aspirants like Raheemullah Khan Niazi and Feroz Khan, and the TRS is only symbolically contesting seats like Charminar and Bahadurpura.
Similar was the situation in the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency where the party gave a ticket to Rashid Shareef, Kumar stated.
Kumar said that the TRS deliberately avoided giving tickets to Muslim candidates in Mahabubnagar, Karimnagar, Adilabad, Medak and Nalgonda districts where the community has a sizeable population.
He said that KCR is also yet to explain the promise to give 12% reservations to Muslims.
He also slammed KCR for targeting TPCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah. On the one hand KCR was speaking of the political empowerment of BCs, but on the other he was not able to tolerate a BC leader made the TPCC chief, he alleged. (INN)
