Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is likely to take a three-day trip to Delhi tomorrow.
The Chief Minister will reportedly take a special flight from Hyderabad to reach the national capital to meet various political leaders and ministers.
The primary objective of Rao's visit will be to inspect the site allotted to the TRS by the union government for the purpose of building a party office in the capital.
During his stay, he is also likely to meet the leaders of various parties of the Opposition to discuss the ongoing farmers' protests for which his government voiced strong support.
The KCR government opposed the agriculture reform laws passed this September by the BJP-led union government, and the party's rank and file took to the streets on December 8 to participate in the Bharat Bandh called for by the agitating farmers.
(Farmers from Punjab and Haryana have been protesting the laws for the last two weeks, claiming that the laws are detrimental to them as they would dismantle the MSP and the mandi systems, and would allow private players to control produce prices.)
The CM will also meet certain union ministers to bring to their notice problems being faced by the people of Telangana, and to seek funds for the development of the state.
