Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has received an invitation from President Ram Nath Kovind to attend a dinner at the latter's residence being hosted for US President Donald Trump in New Delhi on February 25.
Trump will be on a two-day visit to India on February 24 and 25.
KCR is reportedly one among a few Chief Ministers who have been invited to the highly important dinner.
The CMO has received the invitation from the President's office.
KCR will be leaving for Delhi on the afternoon of February 25 to attend the dinner.
The Chief Ministers of Telangana, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Assam, Haryana and Bihar, and some union ministers, will be attending the dinner.
For the uninitiated, in 2017 Ivanka Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump, had visited Hyderabad. She had received a stupendous reception by and hospitality from the state government.
