KCR Flays Naidu, Jagan For Hurting Irrigation
The Telangana CM lashed out at AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for "joining hands" to obstruct Telangana's irrigation projects.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today lashed out at his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress Party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for "joining hands" to obstruct Telangana's irrigation projects.
Welcoming TDP Medak district general secretary Safan Dev, Patancheruvu leader Vishwanath and others into the TRS fold, KCR accused the Andhra leaders of trying to create hurdles for the projects insidiously by colluding in secret.
The projects taken up were not new and were approved by the previous governments, he reiterated, and vowed that though the previous governments failed to irrigate the State's lands, the TRS government would complete the projects to get Telangana its rightful share of waters.
"Despite the conspiracies of Chandrababu Naidu and Jagan, our government will complete the projects as per plan," he said. "The people are fed up with these two Parties, and have made them almost defunct in Telangana now - their leaders are joining the TRS everyday now, which is ample proof."
KCR asked Telangana's leaders to remain strong and gutsy, and to shoulder the responsibility along with him of completing the projects, and teach the Andhra leaders a lesson.
